Currently we are looking for solid C#-ASP.NET-MVC Middle-Senior Developers to join our dynamic and closely-knit ODS project team.
About the project:
Delivering auction technology to enterprise size customers for loyalty, financial, B2B and B2C requirements. It counts amongst its customers Christies, Manchester City FC, Lloyd's of London, The Guardian and many other UK or worldwide recognised brands. Role and responsibilities:
- Improve and develop current and new features for existing ASP.Net solutions, web services.
- Tightly interact with team and customers (UK) to process requests and modify accordingly.
- Proactively support, resolve problems, defects, outages, build and deploy new releases.
- With minimal management pick-up and process tasks, being self-reliant in setting-up and researching what necessary, through checking the changes before deployment.
- Keeping up to date issues in tracking systems, thoroughly following the process and procedures, acknowledging and timely responding to messages and requests.
Requirements:
Must have
• 2-3+ years of commercial experience with software development using Microsoft stack of technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and analytical skills
• Skilled individual with full software development life-cycle experience, and excellent knowledge of both .Net fundamentals and C# up to 4.5.1.
• Positive proactive attitude, willing to turn their hand to any problem, and willing to work things out when they fall outside their area of direct expertise.
• Eager to work as a member of a team and pitch in to ensure the team succeeds with its commitments.
• An interest in expanding your horizons and learning new skills as well as caring about doing things well.
Preferably have

• Experience of building complex web applications with MVC (ideally v4+), Entity Framework, Capable with front end technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script, Front end API's knockout.js, angular.js, JQuery etc.)
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience of either SQL server or other major relational RDBMS
• Experience working with TFS for source control, deployment / builds, backlog and task management (Redmine, other items/defect-tracking systems)
• Expanse of other technical experience; knowledge of other core .Net APIs as well as experience with other languages tools and technologies.
• Experience of test driven development, writing unit tests and solid understanding how to write testable code
• Experience of working as a member of an agile team and familiar with agile planning and estimation techniques.
