International startup is searching for a outstanding designer for it's global mobile App (not for Russian market). The position is a free lance, with prospectives to join the team in office and to get a stock option.
We believe that design isn't just about pretty pixels; instead, it's a full understanding of how the products we build interact with the people that use them. An ideal design candidate will have a deep portfolio of top-notch design projects. Design for us is a combination of the following:
Responsibilities
Visual design of our products: Everything from designing pixel-perfect shadows and highlights on a button in Photoshop. You should be extremely comfortable with Photoshop and be able to churn out beautiful work that shows an understanding of the design challenges we face.
Ability to create rapid prototypes to communicate design ideas. We're not just looking for people who obsess over the details – we're also looking for people who can communicate new ideas as quickly and efficiently as possible. You should be able to use plain pencil & paper to construct and communication variations on ideas to the product team. Design is an iterative process, and we're looking for people who embrace this philosophy of creation as well.

Strong portfolio of past projects that you can share with us
Ability to create breathtaking, pixel-perfect designs and icons
Obsession with crafting simple, intuitive, and delightful user experiences
Fluency with Photoshop that allows you to rapidly prototype new ideas and communicate them to the team
Bonus points for:
BS in Computer Science, HCI, or equivalent, with ability to implement your own designs
Experience designing iOS/Android applications
We will pay high rates on a performance basis to a successful candidate.
