Dear Participants, Marilyn and I very much look forward to working with you at the forthcoming event – Written Evaluator Workshop on Tuesday 17th September 2024 on behalf of EATA. If you now have other commitments and are unable to attend, can you please advise us as we have a waiting list of potential attendees who we can offer the place to.
We have attendees from many different countries, and therefore we will commence the workshop at 9.00am (UK time) (the Zoom room will be open from 8.45am to attend to technical difficulties) and end at approximately 4.00/4.30pm(UK time). For those supporting/sponsoring/evaluating Written Exams in the UK, Psychotherapy field, there is also a mandatory additional 30 minute presentation/discussion thereafter to account for the requirements of the UKCP Post Graduate Scoring Scale. For your convenience please have available the latest version – Version 2 , the EATA Handbook from the EATA Website – you may wish to access this to familiarise yourselves with the content in your preferred language. And for those attending to UK requirements please also have access to the UKATA Handbook.
We will be utilising a framework to support our thinking about the different levels of evaluation, for this we will consider Bloom's Taxonomy. Please access this link and identify this tool in your chosen language, we also provide a different pictorial example attached, from Geib (2006):-
