An important part of our design workflow is creating a flowchart-wireframe of all screens, seeing the total overview of the flow. This is very handy for our engineers before they start programming, and very handy when presenting the projects for our clients. Such wireframes does not compete against great clickable prototypes. We definitely need both. But it has a "birds eye quick view"-value that all of our team members love. An example of such a flowchart is attached. Our issue today:
1) We need to use Photoshop to do this today
2) It is a manual process, so each time a Sketch screen is updated we must export the updated screenshot and manually replace the screenshot on the PSD canvas
3) The wireframe is not lightweight vector PDF when exporting, since we import PNGs to the PSD
Therefore, ideally we'd have a new Tab in Sketch called "Wireframe":
• In "Wireframes", user should be presented with a blank canvas, and a "bucket" of all current screens (from all artboards). User should be able to
◦ "pick" the screens from the bucket ("unused screens")
◦ place them however he likes on the canvas
◦ draw lines and curves between them
◦ add text labels freely
◦ export the flowchart in vector PDF
• If any update is made on any screen in artboards, it'll be updated dynamically in the Wireframe view
• If any new screens are created in artboards, they should immediately appear in the "unused bucket" in the Wireframe view
• If any existing screens are deleted from artboards and it currently included in a Wireframe, a warning should appear to user
