Установить pecl-hash на ubuntu

$p_sign = hmac_hash("sha1",$output_string,pack("H*",$salt));
выдает
Call to undefined function hmac_hash() 

Все установил, но при установке:
pecl install hash

Главное – чтобы работала php-функция hmac_hash.
