We are looking for someone who can commit to this full-time or part-time opportunity, for 'at least' the next few years.

The ideal candidate will have minimum of 7 years of solid experience writing code in an Internet industry, and managing an IT Team. We are looking for an experienced IT Team Manager, specifically in organizing and managing code using a Version Control System (SVN or GIT are preferred) as well as, utilizing a Project Management Tool, such as Basecamp.



Qualifications:



* Required Web Development skills with: Apache, Perl, PHP, C++, MySQL, CSS, HTML, and Javascript

* Experience doing sysadmin of Linux servers (Redhat)

* Fluent in English communication and correspondence skills

* BSc/B.Tech Degree in IT Management / Computer Science/ Engineering or related discipline

* Minimum 7 years experience writing code in an Internet industry

* Minimum 7 years experience as an IT manager, with a Team of 5 or more people.

* Experience doing compilations, installs and configurations of apache, mysql, php, squid

* Experience writing shell scrips (bash, perl)

* Experience optimizing MySQl databases & Documenting MySQL database structure

* Advanced Skills in Quality Assurance, Version Control System (SVN or GIT), & a Project Management Tool

* Proven track record working with technical development teams.

* Strong leadership personality and detailed oriented.

* Exceptional organization skills.

* Ability to solve problems creatively and independently by researching solutions and utilizing available resources.

* Ability to work virtual with team members who are located globally.
