This is a job for a person located in St Petersburg, Russia only (maximum location distance from the city – 100 km). The project starts in June-July of 2012 and ends in August-September 2012. We pay by milestones. We do not pay upfront.
All submissions from people located in other cities will be ignored.
We are looking for PHP programmer with strong knowledge of SOAP and XML. You have to be native Russian speaker, able to read technical texts in English. Reading documentation in English (~ 200 pages) is essential part of the work.
The project requires to develop a software, which:
1. provides a request form to a user
2. encodes the requiest as described in Sabre GDS documentation
3. submits the request to Sabre web service
4. decodes the response and shows it as described by the logic description
5. performs all necessary steps to allow a person to buy a ticket online
6. is able to connect to VTB internet banking system for making financial transactions
The software must implement web design which is to be developed by our web designer. Thus, your ability to read a prototype in Adobe Photoshop or Corel Draw and implement it in the software is absolutely necessary.
You have to be very attentive to details, able to communicate with project manager and web designer effectively (every day, if the work requires), able to meet with them in person 4-5 times per month or more often if needed, and always report any problems immediately as soon as they appear.
Knowledge of and experience in working with Sabre API are not necessary, but improve time you need for the project completion and is a big plus.
