WiFi & Clock Issues on MT8168 Tablet (LineageOS 17.1)

I’m facing two critical issues with a MediaTek MT8168 tablet (model tb8168p1_bsp) running LineageOS 17.1:  
1. WiFi gets stuck on "Obtaining IP address" (detects networks but fails to connect).  
2. System clock resets on every reboot (loses time/date).  

I’ve:  
- Unlocked the bootloader (fastboot getvar all confirms unlocked: yes).  
- Dumped all partitions (including persist, nvram, boot, system) using MTKClient (raw backups available).  
- Tried wiping persist and checking /persist/wifi/.macaddr (file exists, but WiFi still fails).  

### What I Need Help With:  
1. WiFi Fix: Suspect MAC/calibration issues—willing to provide persist.img/nvram.img for analysis.  
2. Clock Reset: Likely RTC-related—how to debug or patch?  
3. Upgrade Path: Would LineageOS 18.1 resolve these issues? Open to clean-flashing if needed.
