Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Flutter Team Lead to lead our dynamic team of 8+ Flutter developers in building and maintaining our cutting-edge POS systems for restaurants. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Flutter, BLoC, Clean Architecture, SQLite, and a proven background in POS software development. This is a full-time, remote position requiring exceptional leadership, technical, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 8+ Flutter developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Oversee the development of new features and improvements to the POS system, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical best practices.
- Architect and implement solutions using Flutter, BLoC, Clean Architecture, and SQLite.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software.
- Review code to ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and maintainability.
- Identify technical risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Provide technical guidance and direction on complex development challenges.
- Drive innovation by staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Flutter and POS development.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in mobile development, with at least 3+ years using Flutter.
- Proven experience as a Team Lead or similar leadership role, managing teams of 5 or more developers.
- In-depth knowledge of BLoC, Clean Architecture, and SQLite.
- Strong experience in POS system development and a deep understanding of the restaurant industry’s requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team in a remote environment.
- Hands-on experience in integrating third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other relevant technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cross-platform performance optimization in Flutter.
- Knowledge of backend development principles to effectively collaborate with backend teams.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
